A trailer has dropped for season two of Wolf Like Me coming to Stan in October.
The seven-part, half-hour romantic dramedy series sees the return of Josh Gad (Frozen, Beauty and the Beast) and Isla Fisher (Arrested Development, Wedding Crashers).
Produced by Jodi Matterson (Nine Perfect Strangers), Bruna Papandrea (Big Little Lies) and Steve Hutensky’s (The Dry) Made Up Stories, Wolf Like Me is created, written, directed and executive produced by three-time AACTA Award nominee Abe Forsythe (Little Monsters) and filmed in Australia with Isla Fisher and Josh Gad joined by an ensemble cast including Édgar Ramírez (The Bourne Ultimatum, Stan Exclusive Series Dr. Death), Ariel Donoghue (Blueback), Emma Lung (Wonderland), Anthony Taufa (Young Rock), and Honour Latukefu.
In the second season of Wolf Like Me, Mary (Fisher) and Gary (Gad) leap into the next phase of their relationship, facing their biggest challenge yet: pregnancy. As much as the two try to have a “normal” pregnancy, it seems impossible with so many questions looming over them. Will their child be a human or a wolf? Just how long can they keep things secret from the rest of their family? Will what happened in the outback come back to haunt them? And, with Mary’s former professor, Anton (Ramírez), suddenly in the picture, can their relationship withstand newly unearthed secrets from Mary’s past?
The Stan Original Series Wolf Like Me is produced by Made Up Stories in partnership with Fifth Season and Peacock. Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea and Steve Hutensky from Made Up Stories serve as executive producers, alongside executive producers Abe Forsythe, Isla Fisher and Josh Gad.
All episodes Thursday October 19 on Stan.
