Footy fever is in the air.
The Front Bar drew 445,000 metro viewers, well ahead of a 30 Years of the Footy Show Grand Final‘s 205,000 in 3 cities. Even in AFL heartland of Melbourne, it was Seven’s current team (247,000) that trumped Nine’s nostalgic special (137,000) -despite the later slot.
The Chase topped entertainment at 462,000 / 311,000.
Gogglebox was 435,000 then 7:30 (379,000) and Foreign Correspondent (275,000).
Seven network won Thursday with 30.4% then Nine 27.8%, ABC 16.5%, 10 16.3% and SBS 9.0%.
Seven News was #1 at 797,000 / 792,000. An extended Home & Away was down at 392,000 / 366,000.
Nine News (705,000 / 692,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair led with 572,000 then Hot Seat (353,000 / 293,000). RBT was 190,000 with Emergency at 151,000.
ABC News pulled 466,000. Grand Designs: House of the Year was 260,000 then Griff’s Great Australian Rail Trip (193,000) and The Drum (120,000).
The Project drew 261,000 / 164,000 then 10 News First 201,000 / 153,000. Michael Hing: Long Live The Hing (115,000) and a Cheap Seats replay (71,000) followed.
On SBS it was SBS World News (130,000 / 96,000), Great Australian Walks with Julia Zemiro (128,000), Mastermind (66,000), Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico (53,000) and Crime (43,000) -which has boomed in Total TV numbers.
The Morning Show: 118,000 / 73,000
Today Extra: 115,000 / 77,000
