Every day is different on the Live With Kelly And Mark show. The two co-hosts have become fairly agile at addressing surprises on air. Both tend to wade through the awkwardness in an unscathed manner. With the two being married and co-hosts, the line between work and home life sometimes gets blurred a bit. Likewise, there have been more NSFW topics introduced and steered through. But lately, there are more moments when Kelly Ripa calls out her Live team during the show which can be tense.
Kelly Ripa Stumbles Through An Error
Live host Kelly Ripa was quick to point out the crew’s mishap during the show. Beginning the guest intro she said, “She was one of the OGs of the RHONY, and now she’s taking her cabaret show on the road.” She blames her team for an error made when The Real Housewives of New York City’s Luann de Lesseps was introduced. She said, “Please welcome back to the show, Countess Luann de Lesseps!”
Kelly rolled out the name of the guest and then quickly apologized to her as she walked in. The Live audience clapped as the reality star walked out on stage. She was wearing a sharp black jumpsuit with an open back. Upon reaching Kelly Ripa, the Live host admitted the error she thought she’d made while introducing the star. Kelly embarrassingly said, “Luann de Lesseps. I just added a ‘de Le’ to your name.” While slightly awkward, the celebrity guest clarified it was correct after all. The Real Housewives reassured her by telling her: “It is de Lesseps! You got it right.”
Kelly Ripa Rips Crew For Mishap
Relieved, that Kelly Ripa was right, she then diverted to the crew. Then she called out the show’s crew for a typo causing her to think she had slipped up. Emphasizing she got Luann’s name right even though it was wrong on the teleprompter. But this wasn’t the first time, Kelly had another moment in the past month when she called out the producer during the show. Kelly seems to be getting bolder with snapping back to clarify what she perceives is happening on the show.
