Selena Gomez invites four culinary superstars to her home in Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays premiering November 30 on Food Network and Max. This year she has invited all-star chefs Eric Adjepong, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon, and Claudette Zepeda to bring their favorite dishes and culinary wisdom to her home kitchen so they can cook up perfect holiday meals to share with friends and family. Over the course of the four specials, the chefs will walk Selena and her best friend, Raquelle Stevens, through their culinary paces to make the season great.Special guest appearances by Gomez’s Papa, Nana and sister Gracie make this a family affair.
Black Cake premieres November 1 on hulu with the first three episodes. Based on the book by Charmaine Wilkerson, the series is a family drama wrapped in a murder mystery with a diverse cast of characters and a global setting. The story takes place in Jamaica, Italy, Scotland, England and Southern California. In the late 1960s, a runaway bride named Covey disappears into the surf off the coast of Jamaica and is feared drowned or a fugitive on the run for her husband’s murder. In present day California, a widow named Eleanor Bennett, loses her battle with cancer, leaving her two estranged children, Byron and Benny, a flash drive that holds previously untold stories of her journey from the Caribbean to America. These stories, narrated by Eleanor, shock her children and challenge everything they thought they knew about their family’s origin.

HBO’s docuseries Navajo Police: Class 57 premieres on HBO October 17. Set against the sweeping backdrop of the Navajo Nation, the three part series follows a group of recruits over the course of one year, as they fight their way through the Navajo Police Training Academy and out into the field, where they must contend with rising crime and centuries of neglect to hold their community together. New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash returns to CBS December 31. The five-hour celebration features live, high-energy performances from country music’s hottest superstars. Thomas Rhett, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Lainey Wilson have been announced as the first performers. Additional information about this year’s lineup of star-studded performers and hosts will be announced at a later date.
Netflix announced the main cast of its upcoming 2024 Japanese series The Queen of Villains. Karata Erika will take the role of Nagayo Chigusa, and Ayame Goriki will take the role of Lioness Asuka. The series tells the unknown story of Dump Matsumoto, a professional wrestler who spurred the women’s professional wrestling boom with her cult-like popularity and took Japan by storm in the 1980s. Nagayo Chigusa and Lioness Asuka are the members of Crush Gals, a Japanese pro-wrestling tag-team duo who became the pop icon by dominating the television bringing the social phenomenon.
Season 14 of The Talk will premiere on CBS October 9. The new premiere date comes following the series pulling back on its original premiere during the writers strike.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus both celebrate a 30th anniversary milestone this year and will air October 22 and October 29, respectively. Two episodes of The Great Halloween Fright Fight will air on October 22 and October 29. The series features four families per episode who build eye-popping home Halloween displays to compete to win the grand prize. A Shark-O-Ween episode of Shark Tank will air October 27. A Halloween episode of AFV will air October 29. Dancing with the Stars will celebrate Halloween October 31. Live with Kelly and Mark will also air its annual Halloween special October 31.
