Seven had a win on Wednesday, driven by Seven News, while Nine led key early evening slots.
And it was a tough night for local dramas going head to head on 10 & SBS, but better news in Total TV thanks to RFDS.
The Block topped entertainment on Wednesday at 574,000 metro viewers.
That eclipsed Hard Quiz (474,000), 7:30 (459,000), SAS Australia (402,000), and The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity (332,000).
Later viewing was low with Mother & Son wrapping at 254,000 then WTFAQ (220,000) and Luxe Listings Sydney (193,000).
Seven network won Wednesday with 29.5% then Nine 28.0%, ABC 18.4%, 10 15.8% and SBS 8.2%.
Seven News was #1 at 848,000 / 823,000 then Home & Away (475,000) and The Chase (458,000 / 302,000). Amazing Race US managed 135,000.
Nine News (746,000 / 726,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair led at 608,000 then Hot Seat (345,000 / 233,000). Botched was 89,000.
ABC News was 578,000 for ABC. The Drum (128,000), Would I Lie to You? (110,000) and Starstruck (100,000) followed.
The Project drew 253,000 / 173,000 for 10. 10 News First was 186,000 / 143,000. Heat pulled 125,000.
On SBS it was SBS World News (130,000 / 103,000), Sri Lanka With Alexander Armstrong (110,000), Elvis’ Women (70,000) and While The Men Are Away (65,000).
Highway Patrol on 7mate led multichannels at 111,000.
