Bachelor Nation fans have a pick for The Bachelor 2025, and you won’t believe who it is. Which former villain do fans want in the role?
2024 Bachelor Already Announced
In May 2023, ABC renewed Bachelor for Season 28, premiering sometime in early 2024 (via Deadline.) It also gave BIP a renewal for Season 9, which premiered on Sept. 28.
The first-ever Golden Bachelor is also underway. The network didn’t wait long after the renewal news to reveal which Bachelor Nation alum will lead the 2024 season.
The announcement came during the After the Final Rose special in August 2023. Season 20 Bachelorette contestant and fan-favorite Joey Graziadei was tapped to headline the next Bachelor season. He was Charity Lawson’s runner-up.

The identities of the 32 women who may potentially appear in the season have also been released. The season is currently filming.
Bachelor Nation’s Dream Pick For The Bachelor 2025
With 2024 Bachelor already locked in, fans are looking to 2025. ABC hasn’t even confirmed Season 29 of the show, but fans are already throwing names into the ring.
Michael Allio from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette claims he was in the running for the Bachelor lead for Season 26. The network ultimately went with Clayton Echard. Could Allio get another shot in 2025?
Given the controversy around his recent split from Danielle Maltby, it seems unlikely ABC would extend the offer again.
Chrisley Knows Best star Chase Chrisley jokingly (or maybe not) threw his name out there after his split from fiance Emmy Medders.
But Bachelor Nation fans already know who they want, and it’s neither Chrisley nor Allio. It’s someone no one would expect, given he was a villain on his season of The Bachelorette.
However, he’s getting his redemption arc on Season 9 of Bachelor In Paradise after getting brutally cast aside by Kat Izzo.
That’s right – fans are clamoring for Brayden Bowers as the 2025 Bachelor.

/thebachelor subreddit has an entire thread dedicated to the crusade. “I think Brayden would make a good Bachelor. He doesn’t like the competition with other men. Hes a romantic at heart. He’s fun, charming, and sweet. Also he’s gorgeous and has a sense of style,” the original poster wrote.
They also said that Bowers would bring “personality” to the show.
Redditors Weigh In
The post saw a mix of people for the idea and those against it. One of the pro-Brayden for Bachelor Redditors wrote, “And I’ll be the first to signup.”
“Honestly, I’m here for it. It would be something totally different and at the very least entertaining,” wrote another.
For those against the idea, it came down to Brayden’s behavior. “He comes across as hot-tempered and extremely insecure, no thanks.”
Another nixed the idea by writing, “He’s not emotionally mature enough for that yet.”
Where do you fall in this debate? Do you think Brayden Bowers would be a good pick for Bachelor 2025? If not, who do you nominate?
Bachelor Nation fans will have to wait a few more months for Bachelor Season 28 to start, but in the meantime, don’t miss The Golden Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise, Thursdays on ABC starting at 8 PM Eastern.
