‘The Cow’ Director and Iranian Film Pioneer Dariush Mehrjui Murdered with His Wife — Reports

Iranian state media has reported that Mehrjui and his wife Vahideh Mohammadifar were killed in a stabbing attack after publicly bristling with the Iranian government over censorship of films.
