Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel where he opened up about a huge red flag for him. Plus, he revealed if he is in love or not.
On night one of The Golden Bachelor fans saw Gerry meet 22 lovely women and also Jimmy Kimmel’s aunt known as Concetta “Aunt Chippy” Potenza. She is in her 80s and became the subject of a lot of joking. She fell asleep on the couch and missed out on the rose ceremony.
It was a joke that some even checked on her to make sure she was still breathing. Gerry himself said he got a mirror to make sure she was okay. She reportedly woke up and asked if it was time for her rose yet and Gerry told her not yet so she rolled over and went back to sleep.
Jimmy questioned why Gerry didn’t choose to give his aunt a rose. Gerry said there was one big thing that made it a big no. He said she smokes. Gerry went on to say that smoking is a huge red flag for him and he basically said he won’t be with anyone who does it.

Jimmy joked about her being an Olympic smoker and asked Aunt Chippy if she’d give up smoking to be with Gerry. She said, “First, I would have to be able to find out his name. Then, maybe I would consider giving up smoking, especially my two cigarettes a day.”
Jimmy Kimmel then looked at Gerry and asked if he was having second thoughts now. Gerry said, “No,” while shaking his head yes with a smile. He went on to say he was sorry to Aunt Chippy. She replied, “No, don’t be sorry,” she says. “It’s quite all right. You’re much too young for me.”

Jimmy went on to ask Gerry Turner if he was in love. He admitted that he was in love. Kimmel teased him and said he wasn’t sure if he was supposed to say that or not. Gerry said he didn’t say who he was in love with.
