My 600-lb Life alum Aaron Washer is one of the most successful patients in Season 7. He appeared at 718 pounds. However, he didn’t go through traumatic experiences in his childhood like the other patients. Instead, he was just extremely addicted to food. The Texas native’s life was already in danger by the time he met Dr. Now. He also experienced a heartbreaking loss during his journey, making things a lot more difficult. My 600-lb Life: Aaron Washer’s Weight Loss Journey
Aaron relied on his father for his everyday needs. He revealed feeling tortured every day due to the constant pain in his body. His dad pushed him to finally start losing weight. The My 600-lb Life alum followed Dr. Now’s orders and eventually lost enough pounds to qualify for bariatric surgery. He eventually lost 315 pounds, which dropped him to 402 lbs.

The former TLC star continued his journey after the show. In August 2022, he uploaded a stunning photo with his wife. Washer also uploaded a selfie in July this year, showing off a slim figure. He has yet to share his current weight. But it’s clear that he has maintained a healthy lifestyle, especially after a heartbreaking loss.
Aaron Continues To Stay Positive After Heartbreaking Loss
In April 2019, Aaron revealed that his father, Eugene, had a foot infection and that one of his toes had to be removed. But after two weeks, the My 600-lb Life alum revealed that his dad had passed away. It was a heartbreaking time for him, especially since his dad helped him get through an unhealthy lifestyle. But despite the loss, Aaron Washer continued to stay positive. He presently works as a full-time caregiver and medical technician. The former reality TV personality has also deleted old FB posts regarding his dad’s health updates, which may be his way of moving on.

Aaron had a return episode to share news about his journey. But his wife, Ashlee, caught the attention of the viewers during their appointment with Dr. Now. She refused the surgeon’s plans and showed disrespectful behavior. However, Dr. Now stood up for his patient and told the wife, “Why don’t you at least listen to what might help him?”, which led her to storm out of the room.

Some fans on Reddit were upset about what Ashlee did. Others said that it was a “red flag” and called her “manipulative.” But despite the controversy, the two appear to be living happily off the cameras.
