Retired Detective Superintendent Deborah Wallace is back on the hunt for a second season of Million Dollar Murders.
The series reopens decades-old unsolved murder cases which carry million dollar rewards for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
Working closely with Homicide squads around the country and armed with one reasons for people to come forward, Wallace discusses the cases with colleagues, and interviews detectives, witnesses and family members, hoping to
spark a long-forgotten memory or a change of heart that will bring justice for the victims and their families.
With the biggest cash reward on offer, one million dollars, for information that leads to an arrest and conviction, these cold case homicides remain the most chilling murder mysteries in Australia.
The series premiere re-examines the murder of Melissa Hunt, whose body was found floating in a dam near Newcastle in New South Wales in 1994, seeking new clues on this mystery that has haunted the community and Melissa’s family for three decades.
The new series of Million Dollar Murders will also see the Western Australia Police Force open the case file on the murder of a child that shocked the state. Over three weeks, join Wallace as the search continues for information and answers, in the hope that the perpetrators of these heinous crimes are brought to justice.
