The When Calls The Heart Season 10 finale episode “Starry Nights” had a huge cliffhanger. Lucas was in trouble and Bill recruited Nathan and Elizabeth to save him. However, that is not the only big WCTH cliffhanger. Another romance has been brewing for many seasons of the Hallmark series.
That romance is between Henry Gowen and Abigail Stanton. They are portrayed by Martin Cummins and Lori Loughlin. Now, Hearties are wondering if Lori Loughlin could possibly be returning for Season 11.

Currently, Hallmark is filming WCTH Season 11 in Vancouver, BC. Now, after the Season 10 finale episode, Hearties are wondering if Lori Loughlin will reprise her role as Abigail Stanton.
In the finale episode entitled “Starry Nights,” Henry Gowan continues on his path to redemption. He is slowly starting to forgive himself for his past sins. Moreover, he agrees to be Marigold Coulter’s godfather, with Elizabeth as the godmother. But their connection is to someone else besides Marigold.
Later, Elizabeth found Henry Gowan was shown staring at Abigail’s Café. He is figuring out his own heart. Henry revealed that it was “her on her side of the street, and me on mine.” He continued, “I lived in the darkness so long that I couldn’t see beauty anymore. Sitting here, across the street, helped me see it again. View hasn’t changed from here. I have.”
Then, Elizabeth replied, “I think she would have really appreciated who you are now.”
The last Hearties saw of Gowan in the finale was him at a home with A. Stanton written on the mailbox. Next, he knocks on the door. He says, “Abigail.” However, that scene ends.
Does he reunite with Abigail? Most of all, is there a chance that Abigail will return to Hope Valley?

In the past few seasons of WCTH, and the short-lived When Hope Calls Season 2, there has been some movement in Henry and Abigail’s relationship. In WHC, Abigail sends a letter to Henry, but not before she sees ghost Jack Thornton, in a Field Of Dreams sort of scene. A season later on When Calls The Heart, there is mention of Abigail.
Will Lori Loughlin Return To WCTH?
Is Lori Loughlin returning to Hallmark to reprise her role on WCTH? There is no indication that she is returning. Just over a year ago, Hallmark began re-airing Loughlin’s Garage Sale Mysteries. However, not since she was fired during the College Admission Scandal, she has not returned to Hallmark.
But, she has made movies with Great American Family. But, GAF has not finished filming any more episodes of When Hope Calls. Therefore, it is unlikely that she will reprise her role as Abigail Stanton again.

In September, the Hearties Family Reunion shared what they could from their fabulous visit to the Jamestown set. One of the big surprises is that Abigail’s Cafe is no longer called that. It is now called The Cafe per the photo shared on Flickr.
This particular update seems to confirm that Abigail will not be returning to Hope Valley. But, it will be interesting to see if there is a story about the name change in WCTH Season 11.
