Laine Hardy won American Idol in 2019 as voters swung him to the top over Alejandro Aranda. However, he now needs help to reboot his career and he started a fundraiser to record more music.
Laine Hardy Was A Popular American Idol Winner
In 2018, the young man from Louisiana impressed ABC’s judges, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie with his audition. Unfortunately, he fell out in Hollywood Week. The next year, he accompanied a girlfriend for her audition and he went through to try for a second time. After winning Season 17, new music was slow to arrive, and his fans begged radio stations to play more of it.
When Laine Hardy started releasing songs, he stunned music lovers with Memorize You, Please Come Home For Christmas, Tiny Town, Ground I Grew Up On, and more. The young man was touted as a “Rising Star” in country music when his downfall arrived. Allegations arrived that he’d planted a listening device in his girlfriend’s room at Louisiana State University. Arrested, he cooperated with the university’s police.
Laine Hardy Returns, Needs Help To Produce More Music
The court didn’t want to destroy a young man who was previously cleaner than the inside of a pile of whistles. So, he ended up being offered a program. If he completed it, no formal record would remain of his crime. Astonishingly patient country fans stood by him over the last year-and-a-half, and now he’s hoping for a comeback.
