Why isn’t Johannah Duggar seen much?
Fans watched Johannah grow up on TLC’s 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On. She is the 16th of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 kids. She is one of the few who still live at home with their parents as many of the older kids are now married and living on their own.
Johannah doesn’t have an Instagram page like many of her siblings do, so fans can’t keep up with her online. Jim Bob and Michelle are laying low and seldom post on Instagram anymore. So, it’s been a while since fans last saw the young woman.
Though Johannah’s parents and siblings rarely share photos of her online, Joy-Anna occasionally posts photos or videos with her.

On her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Joy-Anna shared a couple of photos and video clips with fans, documenting her sister Johannah’s 18th birthday. It looks like several Duggar families got together to go to brunch to celebrate the special day!
In one photo, Joy-Anna and Johannah posed for a picture at a little shop. The sisters were all smiles. In her post, Joy-Anna wrote, “Happy birthday Johannah!”
Below, you can see the rare new photo of Johannah. She’s not the same little girl fans watched grow up on TLC. In the past, the family’s followers have pointed out the similarities between Joy-Anna and Johannah, especially as she gets older.

Also on her Instagram Stories, Joy-Anna shared a short clip of the family enjoying their brunch. From left to right, the clip features Jana Duggar, Johanna Duggar, and Henry Seewald (Jessa Duggar’s son). Joy-Anna happily wrote that they were “celebrating the BIRTHDAY girl!”
Online, fans are speculating about the next chapter of Johannah’s life. Now that she’s 18 years old, it’s possible it won’t be long before she starts courting or even gets engaged. For now, she’s not known to be in a relationship, but with the Duggars keeping quiet online, it’s possible that’s just not public information yet.
